I've never been a fan of Pixie Lott, she's part of that new wave of music that has swept the nation into believing that 'fake' music is real music. But this is different, for three minutes and twelve seconds we see Pixie Lott as a girl with a beautiful voice - instead of seeing her as part of the music industry pantomime.
I wish that more songs of hers were like this, then maybe she would be seen as a musician, not a pop star. I certainly respect her more after hearing this beautiful rendition of a modern classic. Her voice is complimented by the acoustic guitar, she doesn't have a wave of instruments to have to battle against for the spot light. It's simple, it's respectful and it gives me hope towards chart music.
