Paul Freeman - Tightrope
Paul Freeman... The man is an underrated musician all together rather than just having one underrated song, as far as I'm concerned he hasn't yet received the recognition he deserves for his wonderful music. But 'Tightrope' has to be my favourite of the colourful collection of Freeman songs. The song has a strong vocal all the way through and gives us a clear message of the song being about Freeman getting into the stage of a break up where he begins missing this girl and wanting her back - well that's what I perceive it as. I love the little opening riff that opens up a door of cheer for us to keep hold of whilst we listen to the tune, it welcomes his story to us and I take immense joy in listening to it.
What else can I even say? I'm going through a bit of writer's block at the moment but I don't believe there is anything else to say, once you've listened to the song you kind of know why I'm writing about it. There aren't anymore words to describe why I love Paul Freeman and his music, why I love this song and why I feel the need to show him all to you. Just Youtube him.
