So here it is merry Christmas.

Hello old chums, yes it is the season to be jolly - already! - and I bet when you've all been shopping you've had the usual Christmas tunes drummed into your ears, some of you will love it and some of you will hate it... Well I love it so those who can't stand to hear Noddy Holder scream "IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!!" can get right off my blog and sit in the corner.

So yes, this week will be a week of festive cheer with videos of your favourite Christmas songs (well actually, my favourite Christmas songs but you get the jist). And today I would like to start off with the cheesiest of all Christmas songs which is our lovable Paul McCartney's 'wonderful Christmas time';
Ah yes, the cheese of the Beatles, the cheese of Christmas songs and the cheese of the vegetarian world that is Paul McCartney. Well as soon as you hear that introduction you know it's our lovable mop top lad spreading Christmas cheer with the lyrics that I've never been able to make sense of. Seriously what does 'the word is out, about the town, so lift a glass, oohhh don't look own' even mean? - Purely nonsensical - which is what Christmas is all about! Doing stuff that wouldn't make sense all the rest of the year.

I actually really love this song, but that's because I bloody well love Paul McCartney and all of his songs! It's usually the first Christmas song I hear around Christmas time (and I say around Christmas time because I usually listen to them before Christmas, maybe in July time I start on them). It'll be early December, I'll be looking around HMV in the 2 for £10 section and then I'll hear that synth, then the bells and my ears will prick up and before I know it I'm singing along with Paul and Linda! Oh what a feeling it is, go on - get your listening gear onto it.
