The Ronnie Wood Show.

Did anyone manage to catch this on Sky Arts last night? What a treat it was, also very refreshing to have a music show where older music is spoken about and discussed by musicians who were there at the time it was happening. Ronnie's guest this week was Alice Cooper, what a guy he is - it was a great first episode, hearing them speak so romantically about the music from their childhood that inspired them to become part of the scene. They're old friends, are Alice and Ronnie, this was made obvious when they joked and laughed together as they reminisced about their days in Detroit "Remember Cindy?" Ronnie asked Alice, of course he remembered her but none of them cared to explain who she was. Stories about Keith Moon were shared for a brief few moments after they had listened to 'My Generation' "That's Moonie" Alice said, warmly, as the ending drum fill cascaded through the speakers.

If you're into the older generation of musician I recommend this programme to you, or even if you're interested in music because there's nothing like listening to two blokes, who have seen it all and wear the t shirt proudly, discuss it so freely.
Catch it, Fridays at 11pm on Sky Arts 1.
